Family Fundraising Contribution Program
The Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) is committed to providing our cadets with a more comprehensive program that remains cost-free and accessible to all families
Supporting the 810 Squadron Program
There is no membership or registration fee to join 810 Squadron. However, operating a successful cadet program involves costs that are not fully covered through government funding.
810 Squadron has approximately $100,000 in annual unfunded operating costs, including facility rentals, training materials, transportation, program supplies, league fees, and other operating expenses.
Fundraising and volunteer support are separate from registration and are an important part of how we meet these costs and keep the program accessible to all families.
Family Contribution Deposit
To help support the annual cost of the program, families are asked to make a fundraising contribution deposit.
-
September Registration:
-
$300 for the first cadet in the same household.
-
$200 for each additional cadet in the same household
-
-
January Registration:
-
$200 per cadet.
-
Families can choose how they would like to support the squadron:
-
Pay the Contribution: Pay the $300 (or amount due per family) to opt out of any additional commitment.
-
Donate and Volunteer: Donate $300 (or the amount due per family) and continue to support the squadron through volunteer/fundraising opportunities.
-
Earn Back the Contribution Through Participation: Participate in the volunteer or fundraising activities to offset the contribution with family contribution credits. Families will receive a reimbursement (up to $300 or the amount due) as family contribution credits are earned.
The goal is to ensure that families can contribute to the success of 810 Squadron in ways that work for them, while collectively helping us meet the costs of operating the program.
