Fundraising Bond Program

The Squadron Sponsoring Committee (SSC) is committed to providing our cadets with a more comprehensive program that remains cost-free and accessible to all families. Following discussions at the 2024/25 Annual General Meeting, the SSC has developed a program designed to be fair and inclusive for everyone.

This new initiative will be implemented in the 2025/26 cadet year.

Your support in this endeavor is greatly appreciated as we strive to enhance our cadet experience.

Cadet Program Costs

The Air Cadet Program is partially funded by the Government of Canada through the Department of National Defence. Parents and guardians must fundraise to pay for the unfunded costs of the program.

While there are no direct membership or registration fees to join 810 Squadron, numerous essential costs are not covered by the Canadian Armed Forces. These include:

  • Facility rentals

  • Cadet League fees

  • Training materials and program supplies

  • Operating costs

  • Transportation

The annual operating cost of 810 Squadron is approximately $100,000.

To maintain a high-quality, cost-free program accessible to all families, we rely heavily on the volunteer efforts and financial support of cadet families.
